All news headlines and summaries are read by our AI model, which is instructed to understand forex fundamentals, central bank language, economic data interpretation, geopolitical impact.

Sentiment Scoring
For each major currency, AI outputs a 0-100 sentiment score plus the top 3-4 key drivers explaining why. Pairs are calculated by combining the two currencies' scores.

Results are stored and displayed on your dashboard with color-coded cards, key drivers, and historical trends. Refreshes automatically.
๐ฅ Gold (XAU/USD)
Gold is scored on the same 3-hour cycle and the same 0-100 scale as the currencies. Each cycle the AI reads the headlines that mention gold together with the US macro headlines that usually move it: Federal Reserve policy and interest rate expectations, US inflation and jobs data, the US dollar, risk appetite and geopolitics, and central bank gold buying. It gives gold its own score and up to three drivers, each tied to a specific headline. When no headline carries a fresh catalyst, gold sits at 50, Neutral.
The XAU/USD read compares gold with the dollar: gold's score minus the latest US dollar score. As with every other pair on the site, a gap above +10 reads Bullish, below -10 reads Bearish, and anything in between is Neutral. XAU/USD session calls use the same conviction bands as the forex pairs and are settled against an hourly gold reference price. For session moves we count 1 pip as $0.10 per ounce.
Gold is part of Pro: the live score, drivers, session calls and history are on the Pro dashboard and through the API. Everyone can see the XAU/USD bias label on the XAU/USD gold sentiment page, one 3-hour cycle delayed. Gold is a market rather than a currency or a forex pair, so it lives on the Markets page alongside any markets we add later, and the What Moves Gold? guide explains the drivers behind its score. Gold is kept separate from the currency scores, so it never changes the 8 currency readings, the Market Pulse gauge or the forex session scorecard.

Every currency gets a verdict on the news (Bullish, Neutral or Bearish) and a score from 0-100 for how strong it is. The verdict is set by the score:
40 or lower
Bearish
Negative fundamentals, currency likely to weaken
41 to 59
Neutral
Mixed signals, wait for clearer setup
60 or higher
Bullish
Positive fundamentals, currency likely to strengthen

How accurate is the AI sentiment?
AI analysis is good but not perfect. It's a tool to speed up your fundamental analysis, not a magic prediction. Always combine with your own research and technical analysis.

That's actually useful! When you disagree with the consensus, examine why. Sometimes you have an edge. Sometimes you missed something. Either way it sharpens your thinking.
