📋 Not Financial Advice
The content on FXNewsBias — including sentiment scores, news analysis, market commentary, community posts, and any other information — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is NOT financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of personalized recommendation.
FXNewsBias does not consider your personal financial situation, risk tolerance, investment objectives, or needs. We are not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or investment manager. Before making any trading decision, you should consult with a qualified, licensed financial professional.
💸 Risk of Loss
Forex (foreign exchange) trading involves substantial risks, including but not limited to:
- Leverage Risk: Forex trading uses high leverage which amplifies both gains and losses. You can lose more than your deposited capital.
- Market Volatility: Currency prices can move sharply due to news, central bank decisions, geopolitical events, and other factors.
- Liquidity Risk: During major events, spreads can widen and slippage can occur.
- Counterparty Risk: Your broker could become insolvent or restrict your ability to trade.
- Technical Risk: Internet connectivity, platform outages, or system failures can cause losses.
Statistically, 70-80% of retail forex traders lose money. Many lose all their capital. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
🤖 AI Sentiment Limitations
FXNewsBias uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to read forex news and assign a bullish/bearish score to each affected currency. While we strive for accuracy, AI analysis has real limitations:
- AI may misinterpret news context, sarcasm, or nuance.
- AI cannot predict unexpected events, central bank surprises, or black-swan scenarios.
- Sentiment is computed from headlines available at the time of analysis — it does not include private information, order flow, or positioning data.
- Markets can move opposite to fundamental sentiment in the short term due to positioning, technicals, or liquidity.
- Sentiment is one input among many — never the sole basis for any trading decision.
Important: A "Bullish" or "Bearish" sentiment score does NOT mean you should buy or sell. It is descriptive information for you to consider alongside your own analysis.
📐 Market Pulse, Divergence, Streaks & Top Movers
The FXNewsBias dashboard displays several derived metrics. All of them are descriptive measurements of recent sentiment behaviour — not predictive trading signals:
- Market Pulse (Risk-On / Risk-Off gauge) compares average sentiment of risk currencies (AUD, NZD, CAD) against safe-havens (USD, JPY, CHF). It reflects current positioning bias only and does not predict future risk regime.
- Sentiment vs Price Divergence flags pairs whose 24h sentiment direction disagrees with their 24h price direction by a meaningful margin (sentiment delta ≥ 6 pts and price move ≥ 0.15%). A flagged divergence is not a trade entry — markets can stay divergent for extended periods, and the price side may be the one that ends up "right."
- Sentiment Streaks count consecutive days a currency has held the same sentiment regime. A long streak does not indicate the regime will continue; many streaks end abruptly on news events.
- 24h Top Movers show the biggest sentiment shifts over the past 24 hours. Large shifts may already be reflected in price.
All thresholds, weightings, and currency groupings used in these calculations may be changed at any time without notice as we improve the methodology.
