CURRENCY STRENGTH MONITOR
All 8 majors ranked strongest to weakest, scored 0-100 by AI reading the news feed itself, not lagging price averages. The machine reads every headline; you trade the spread it finds.

ROW β COL Β· POSITIVE FAVOURS ROW[01] INPUT: THE NEWS FEED
Every 3 hours the engine reads the latest forex headlines and scores each major from 0 to 100 the way a fundamental analyst would: hawkish central bank language lifts a currency, dovish talk weighs on it, risk-off flows favour the safe havens (USD, JPY, CHF) and punish the commodity bloc (AUD, CAD, NZD). Inflation surprises, jobs data and geopolitical shocks are weighted by their historical FX impact. The ranking above is those scores, sorted; the same numbers drive the live dashboard and every currency page.
[02] WHY NOT PRICE
Price-based strength meters average what already happened; they are rear-view mirrors. This monitor scores the story before price has fully reacted. When the news ranking and the price ranking disagree, that gap is the signal: either price is about to catch up with the story, or the story is already spent. Our news sentiment guide explains the difference.
β FAQ
What is a currency strength meter?
A currency strength meter measures each currency on its own instead of quoting it against another. A pair like EUR/USD always mixes two stories; the meter separates them, so you can see whether a move came from euro strength or dollar weakness. Ours scores all 8 majors from 0 (weakest) to 100 (strongest) and ranks them.
How is this different from other strength meters?
Almost every free strength meter is computed from recent price changes, which makes it a lagging indicator. This meter is computed from the news itself: an AI reads forex headlines and scores each currency the way a fundamental analyst would, before price has fully reacted. It answers "what does the news say", not "what did price just do".
How often does the meter update, and is it free?
Scores refresh every 3 hours, around the clock, weekends included. This page is free with no signup. Developers can pull the same numbers as JSON through the FXNewsBias API, and Pro members get history charts and bias-flip alerts.
