The vertical line marks 50%, a coin flip. Right of it, sentiment carried information for that session.
At each session open the sentiment engine records a directional read for every covered pair, with the live price at that moment. When the session settles, the move is measured against the pair's own volatility band: with the call is aligned, against it is contra, and a move too small to matter is quiet and excluded from the hit rate. Reads without a clean price window are never scored. The rules are fixed in code, run on a schedule, and no human touches the results. This is a record of how often news sentiment carried tradable information, not trade advice.
